Chicago Bulls 113-109 New Orleans Pelicans

Bulls decomplexed leaned on this triptych to impose on the floor of the Pelicans (113-109). Despite a very complicated start to the game, where his defense was put into difficulty, Chicago returned to the game in the third quarter and resisted the tandem Anthony Davis - DeMarcus Cousins, both in double-double. The Bulls responded with no less than eight players to 10 points or more. However, Alvin Gentry intends to give his players major time tonight. The Rondo-Holiday-Cuz-AD quartet spends more than 30 minutes on the floor. The interrogation hovers around the fifth man of departure. Dante Cunningham plays less than the other holders and Gentry prefers to quickly line up another small back.

The formula works well because the premises start very strong. With Rondo at the controls (8 passes), the Pelicans accelerate much and the defensive withdrawal of the Bulls is doubtful. In spite of their distance address, the Bulls already count 16 points behind 12 minutes, and especially 46 points in the teeth! This gap remains in the second period when Cousins (20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists) and Davis (24 and 10) continue to do damage in and out.
In the third quarter, NOLA falls asleep. Chicago took the opportunity to take back the score and even to pass thanks to its distance address (16 baskets awarded in all!). Jrue Holiday (14 points), Nikola Mirotic (14 points), Denzel Valentine (12 points).
