Cleveland Cavaliers 107-112 Brooklyn Nets

Without D'Angelo Russell, knee injury, and despite a LeBron James triple-double (29 points, 10 rebounds, 13 assists but also 8 lost balls), the Nets have shown their character to keep their unbeaten home beating Riders with reaction and without idea (112-107). This is the second defeat of the finalists 2017.
Speeding up once again for the Cavaliers, with a LeBron James at the lead who takes things in hand. To put the pace, the King is in the oven and mill, helping his teammates to take the lead quickly (13-4). It was relying on the pride reaction of the locals, first by Rondae Hollis-Jefferson in defense, then by DeMarre Carroll who scored 8 points on four attacks, allow their franchise to take the lead (16-15 , 7th). Dead time for the Cavs. Tyronn Lue runs, and despite a reaction from his second unit, the Nets keep their hand on the match to close this quarter (26-23).

LeBron returns to the pitch for the start of the second quarter, which starts at the same pace as the previous one. The Nets are fiery, but without success and the Cavaliers do not manage to widen the gap. Worse, the Nets come back to a point on Cleveland's defensive wanderings, which are still breaking ground in this area (37-36, 14th). Feeling the breath of Kenny Atkinson's players in the neck of his flock, Lue asks for a new time-out, very frustrated with the lack of cohesion of his team. No results, King's teammates still fail, and see the Nets impose their pace and intensity. Balls lost, lack of fluidity in attack side Cavs, and the Nets join the locker room with three points ahead (55-52).

For the beginning of this second period, the Nets keep the same line of conduct: defense and 3-point shots. The only Timofey Mozgov is used to take rebounds and bring out the ball to his teammates. The Nets dig a small gap (67-60, 26th), and the Cavs still can not play their score. The Nets offer a game very licked, and wingers Carroll and Crabbe light from afar to give a good leeway to theirs (75-64, 34th). The locals master the debates and end this period on a more than deserved advance (84-73). The 3-point shots are linked one after the other, and the Cavs start the last minute with a point in advance (104-103). But it was without counting on Spencer Dinwiddie behind the 3-point line and Hollis-Jefferson, who planted 5 points in a row to put the Cavs almost on the ground (108-104). Kyle Korver is trying to keep his side in touch with a long-distance shot, but Cleveland stammers his basket and after two miss shots by the King, which would have allowed his team to equalize, the Nets remain undefeated at home this season (112-107).
