Los Angeles Clippers 113-121 Toronto Raptors

The continuity of the Raptors core was immediately noticeable in the opening game of the new preseason that easily won 121-113 to the Clippers in the preseason debut for both teams.

Kyle Lowry with 17 points and four assists topped the Raptors' seven-player roster, including the five starters, who had double-digit numbers. Spaniard Serge Ibaka led the Raptors with 12 points and four rebounds after scoring 4 of 12 field shots, including a triple of nine attempts, and 3 of 4 from the line-up.

While Lithuanian center Jonas Valanciunas was the best Raptors in the indoor game with a double-double of 10 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Brazilian forward Bruno Caboclo and his compatriot pivot Lucas Nogueira won the Raptors' reserve six and four points respectively. Another tall man, power forward Blake Griffin, with 18 points, led the Clippers, who also had the support of reserve guard Lou Williams, who added 17 points, six assists, four rebounds and two rebounds. The new acquisition of the Clippers, Italian forward Danilo Gallinari left the starting lineup and also got 17 points and three rebounds.
