Minnesota Timberwolves 100-97 Utah Jazz




Reserve Jamal Crawford scored 17 points in the fourth quarter, including a 3pt with 27 seconds left in regulation time, and the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Utah Jazz 100-97.
The Timberwolves, who added their first win in the new season, also had the attack of guard Andrew Wiggins, who scored 21, and of the Dominican pivot Karl-Anthony Towns, who contributed double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Towns played 32 minutes, scored 7 of 12 field shots, 6 of 8 from the person line, and delivered an assist.

For the Jazz, Rubio contributed a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds in his first game in Minneapolis, after which in July the Timberwolves changed it to the equipment of Utah. Rubio played 33 minutes, scored 4 of 10 field shots, including 1 of 3 3-pointers, 10-of-11 from the lineup, and scored five rebounds. The Spanish, who spent his first six seasons in Minnesota before being traded to the Jazz, received a standing ovation from the crowd when it was introduced.
Rodney Hood contributed 20 goals and Derrick Favor added 16 for the Jazz.
