Ben Simmons contributed 24 points, nine assists and seven rebounds that allowed the Philadelphia Sixers to beat home 107-115 to the Rockets, who lost the second game in their field so far this season.
Cameroonian center Joel Embiid added 22 points for the 76ers, who claimed revenge for a loss in Philadelphia on October 28. They lost 104-105 with a basket by Eric Gordon at the end of the game.
The Sixers broke an eight-game losing streak against the Rockets, beating Houston for the first time since February 16, 2011. The Rockets missed nine of their last 10 shots on the field, with just four points in the last of 3:28 to snap set-backs for the first time this season. Harden led the Rockets with 29 points and Gordon added 25 points, but failed with the decisive shots.
