Utah Jazz 84-102 Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers continue to count their games victories and in the third of the season they were comfortably beaten by 102-84 to a Ricky Rubio's Utah Jazz that finished with 10 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds in 31 minutes.
Blake Griffin was the top scorer with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists, while Jazz rookie Donovan Mitchell scored with 19 points. Rubio, Rudy Gobert and Joe Ingles made it to the meeting as top scorers for the Jazz with 14.7 points per game, but the Australian today did not have his best performance and the team recorded a 25 percent success from the line of three (7/28).

At the start, Rubio managed the pace with a master hand and scored eight of the team's top ten points, stout in defense but lacking options in attack, a circumstance that was used by the locals to tighten the throttle as soon as the Spaniard left to the bench. The public, who celebrated the Dodgers' victory over the Astros in the World Series, enjoyed the show with Griffin's old-fashioned mate on Gobert, an action that spurred the Californians (27-20), perfectly directed by Patrick Beverley.

Rubio's return was good for the Jazz, who with more order and precision were ahead (33-37) thanks to an effective Thabo Sefolosha, but the Doc Rivers team came out as a shot in the second part (partial of 9 -0 to get 51-41 up) and reached a maximum lead of 21 points (73-52). Griffin and Beverley arsenal were added the insights of Austin Rivers, the good decisions of Danilo Gallinari and the inner power of DeAndre Jordan, that ended up demolishing those of Quin Snyder.

The Jazz had bled in a heartbeat, the result of a fierce night facing the ring (17/48 in the middle of the third quarter, a 35 percent success), which influenced Rubio to record his first attendance in the 30th minute of party. In the fourth quarter, a push led by Brazilian Raulzinho Neto left Utah to seven points (83-76) with 6:38 remaining for the final. At that time the holders of both teams returned to the field and the difference continued to decline (88-82), until seven points in a row of the Clippers, by Beverley, Rivers and Gallinari, cooled the reaction.
