Boston Celtics 104-88 Orlando Magic




Jaylen Brown scored 18 points and Al Horford added a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Boston Celtics to an 88-104 victory over the Orlando Magic that consolidates them as leaders of the Eastern Conference.
The Celtics (8-2) have won eight games in a row after starting the season with two straight losses, while the Magic (6-4), who on Friday night were tied with the Boston team for the best record of the season. NBA, have chained two defeats.Kyrie Irving, who missed the four triples he tried and stayed on 11 points, struggled with his second-half shot, but Marcus Morris, Marcus Smart, Brown and Al Horford led the Celtics offensively. Morris scored 12 points in his second game of the season, rookie Jayson Tatum finished with 13 and Smart contributed 11.

On the Magic side, their leading scorer, Evan Fournier, could only score 6 points, Nikola Vucevic stayed at 13 and his best man was Aaron Gordon, with a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds.This was the eighth time in this streak of eight consecutive wins that the Celtics have kept an opponent below 94 points.
