Cleveland Cavaliers 104-101 New York Knicks

LeBron James provided a double-double of 23 points and 12 assists that helped the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the New York Knicks 101-104 home on their second consecutive victory.
Kyley Korver was also decisive in the comeback of the Cavaliers, who came to lose 20 in the third quarter (73-53), to get 21 points, including 19 in the last period, when the Cleveland team made the difference with his triples. James, who had questioned the value of the French base, the rookie Frank Ntilikina, selected by the Knicks in the past university draw, faced the European player, and also with the Swiss center Enes Kanter, who received technical foul as well as the star of the Cavaliers. Two days earlier, in Dallas, LeBron James stated that rookie point guard Dennis Smith Jr. would have to be a Knicks player instead of Ntilikina, who was selected number eight in the last draft and the Mavericks had the ninth rights.

The Knicks, after the incident in the first quarter, managed to establish a partial advantage of 23 points in the final stretch of the third period, which was eventually overtaken by the Cavaliers (7-7), who scored nine triples and made the eighth consecutive victory at Madison Square Garden. The guard-forward Tim Hardaway Jr. led the attack of the Knicks (7-6) after providing a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds, while Kanter also contributed 20 points and captured 16 balls under the rings. Latvian power forward Kristaps Porzingis could not have been a Knicks winner this time, despite scoring 20 goals, but not the decisive ones, and he also missed 14 field goals out of 21 he did. The Knicks stayed for the second time so far this season with the possibility of having won the victory against the Cavaliers, current champions of the Eastern Conference.
