Los Angeles Lakers player Larry Nance Jr. suffers a fracture in the second metacarpal of the left hand. The player was injured when trying to put a stopper in the 3:45 in the third quarter of the game his team played against the Portland Trail Blazers.
At first it was thought that it was a fracture in one finger, but the posterior radiographs showed a break in the wrist. The Los Angeles franchise has not communicated to the media about the period of absence, but the nature of the injury suggests that it will be several weeks.
Nance had established himself in the starting line-up of the Lakers and now it is expected that Julius Randle or Kyle Kuzma will replace him in the starting team.
