New York Knicks 99-112 Orlando Magic




Nikola Vucevic scored 24 points and had the support of Evan Fournier, who scored 23, in the Orlando Magic's 112-99 victory over the New York Knicks.
With the result, after two consecutive defeats, the Magic (7-4) improved their mark to 4-2 in games held in their field. Aaron Gordon was the third player to break the 20-point barrier with 21 for the Orlando team, who made 54 percent (43 of 80) of their field goals. Base Elfrid Payton on his return from a hamstring injury that forced him to miss eight straight games finished with 11 points, 11 assists and six rebounds.

The New York team, playing without Kristaps Porzingis, injured ankle and elbow, saw a broken streak of three consecutive wins. The Knicks (6-5) were led by Tim Hardaway, with double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds. Reserve Doug McDermott contributed 13 points and Courtney Lee added 12 points. The Knicks spanish Center Willy Hernangomez scored eight points in eight minutes on the court. Hernangomez made 4 of 6 field goals and got three rebounds.
