Buddy Hield, with 21 points, and Zach Randolph, who contributed 18, all in the second half, became the leaders of the Sacramento Kings who defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 94-86.
The Kings (2-8) got only 10 points in the first quarter, but they gained an advantage at the beginning of the third and from there dominated the game. The Sacramento team thus stopped a losing streak of seven consecutive defeats and made its first win since last October 20. Justin Jackson scored 16 points and was the third player with double-digit touchdown for the Kings, who got their second win so far this season.
The Thunder (4-6) were led by their base Russell Westbrook, with a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds. Carmelo Anthony contributed 16 and Steven Adams scored 14 for the Oklahoma City team. Anthony added seven rebounds in his first game since being ejected in the 99-103 loss at Portland on Sunday.
