Toronto Raptors 94-95 Boston Celtics

The center Al Horford, recovered from the concussion suffered, became the leader of the attack of the Boston Celtics, who prevailed by 95-94 to the Toronto Raptors and achieved the twelfth consecutive victory.
Horford, with 21 points, topped the list of the five Celtics players who had double-digit numbers and who helped the Boston team continue on the winning track despite having low star base Kyrie Irving, who suffers a minor fracture in the face after Friday's nudge from fellow New Zealander Aron Baynes. The Dominican international played 33 minutes and brushed the perfection in the shots to basket by getting 8 of 9 and 4 of 5 from the line of personnel. Horford also captured three rebounds, gave four assists, recovered two balls, lost two more and committed a personal foul. Forward Jaylen Brown added 18 points, while reserve baseman Terry Rozier scored 16 points, which helped the Celtics score 12-2, the best of the Eastern Conference and the league. The base Marcus Smart also did a great job to stay at the doors of a double-double with 14 points, nine assists, five rebounds and two recoveries of the ball. The rookie forward Jayson Tatum reached 13 points as a starter and completed the list of the five Celtics players who had double-digit numbers and as a team they achieved a 40 percent success on the field.

DeMar DeRozan returned to be the leader of the attack of the Raptors to contribute 24 points, but missed 14 of the 22 field goals he did, including the last from inside the painting with 19 seconds left of the regulation time that could have been the basket of triumph. The rebound was fought by the Spanish Congolese power forward Serge Ibaka, but the Celtics' defense did a great job and did not allow their control, which fell into Tatum's possession, although the replay of the video showed that he committed a personal foul on the basis of the Raptors, Fred VanVleet. The base Kyle Lowry reached the 19 points with seven assists and a rebound, but neither were enough to avoid the defeat of the Raptors (7-5), who broke streak of two consecutive wins. Ibaka played 30 minutes as a starter and contributed eight points by scoring 3 of 4 field goals, including a triple attempt, and 1-1 from the personnel line. In the inside game, Ibaka got six rebounds, all defensive, gave an assist, recovered a ball, lost two and put a stopper. While the Brazilian power forward Lucas Nogueira disputed 19 minutes as reserve and was the best in the actions within the paint to capture seven rebounds - six defenses - gave an assist, recovered a ball, lost another and put four blocks, which they left him leader of the team in that facet of the game. Nogueira did not have the same inspiration in the offensive game after missing the three shots he made to the basket and finished the game without points.
