Boston Celtics 109-102 Brooklyn Nets

Kyrie Irving made an important return to the lineup by scoring 25 points in the Boston Celtics' 109-102 win over the Brooklyn Nets for his 13th straight win. The Celtics (13-2) have not lost since they had a 0-2 start to the season.
Irving missed a game with a facial fracture after he was hit by his teammate Aron Baynes on Friday, so this time he played with a protective mask. Irving had previously played with a mask, when he scored 41 points in his loss in New York on December 15, 2012, playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Marcus Morris added double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Jayson Tatum scored 19 points for the Celtics. The Dominican Al Horford got double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds in 30 minutes of action. Horford scored 8 of 10 field goals, including 1 of 2 triples and delivered three assists.

The Nets (5-9) had reserve leader Joe Harris with 19 points, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson had 16 points and nine rebounds, and Allen Crabbe and reserve Caris LeVert had 15 apiece.
