Donovan Mitchell scored 26 points, four of them in the final minute of regulation time in the Utah Jazz's 114-106 victory over the Brooklyn Nets.
The Jazz, who except for a few minutes during the first quarter were always ahead on the scoreboard and at halftime dominated by 61-45, improved to 6-7 their mark so far this season by stopping a four-game losing streak. Derrick Favors, who played as a starter in place of Rudy Gobert, injured on one knee, achieved his best records of the season with a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds and the Catalan baseman Ricky Rubio contributed 10 points. Rubio played 36 minutes, scored 4 of 9 field goals, missed the three triples he threw, captured seven rebounds, all defensive, delivered eight assists and recovered four balls.
The Nets, who now have a 5-8 record, were led by D'Angelo Russell, with 26 points. Rondae-Hollis Jefferson got 19 points and DeMarre Carroll made 15.
