Cleveland Cavaliers 104-111 Dallas Mavericks




Kevin Love had a double-double of 29 points and 15 rebounds and the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Dallas Mavericks 111-104.
The Cavaliers, who traveled to the American Airlines Center of the Mavericks, improved their record to 6-7 in the championship and put equal numbers of 3-3 in games as visiting team. LeBron James also contributed double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds, and J.R. Smith collaborated with 17, while backup Kyle Korver scored his 13 points in the fourth quarter. José Manuel Calderón did not see action by his coach's decision. The Mavericks (2-11) had Harrison Barnes as their leading scorer with a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds.

With their defeat, the Mavericks tied with the Atlanta Hawks with the worst record in the league. Dennis Smith scored 21 points and Dirk Nowitzki scored 14 for the Texans. Reserve José Juan Barea scored nine goals in 2 minutes of play when he scored 3 of 10 field goals, including 1 of 5 triples, 2 of 3 from the personnel line, recovered two rebounds and delivered three assists.
