Golden State Warriors easily won the Denver Nuggets at home by 108-127 to achieve their fifth victory as visitors (5-1) and seventh in their overall balance (7-3) in a game in which their two big stars were their top scorers: Kevin Durant scored 25 points and Stephen Curry added 22.
The Golden State team, which started the season hesitantly, has won six of its last seven games, including three from a recently concluded tour.The Warriors finished with 43 points in the third quarter, the biggest score conceded by the Nuggets in a period so far this season, and took a comfortable lead of 103-76 in the fourth quarter. Draymond Green, with 15 points and eight rebounds, and Kaly Thompson, with another 15 points, also excelled in the Golden State team.
The Nuggets (5-5) were led by reserve Will Barton, with 21 points. Emmanuel Mudiay, who also came off the bench, contributed 15 points, and Trey Lyles added 11 for the Denver team.
